What is the Zone Diet?


The Zone Diet
The Zone Diet is a perfectly balanced diet of protein, fat, and carbohydrates.

The Zone Perfect diet helps individuals lose weight, maintain weight and improve health.

It is especially good for people already diagnosed with diabetes, hypoglycemia, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and heart disease.


How the Zone Diet works:

The meals are a perfect balance of 40 percent carbohydrates, 30 percent lean protein, and 30 percent monounsaturated fats. This is the perfect balance to help control insulin and hormone levels which aids in causing the body to release stored fat.




Individuals receive 4 weeks of meal plans one week at a time by email. The plans are accompanied by a shopping list and easy to prepare recipes. Then weeks one and four are repeated for a total of 6 weeks in the plan.

There are no special foods to buy. All food may be purchased at your favorite supermarket.

Each dieter is given the private email address of a nutritional counselor.

The counselors are available daily to help answer any questions the dieter may have.

If the desired weight is not reached in 6 weeks, the dieter may repeat the diet. Counseling will be made available for the additional time as well.
